The latest version of Smart Slider 3 Pro (3.3.8) presents a new layer: the Animated Heading. This layer has several cool text effects, including the typing effect. How to get this new layer? Update your Smart Slider 3 and find the Animated heading layer in your layer list.

What is an Animated heading?

To simply put it: it’s a layer you can use to display different words or sentences which rotate on and on. You can use it for various purposes, for instance, to display more message on the same spot on your site. There are many animations you can choose from including the famous typewriter effect. The variety of animations make the Animated heading layer suitable for any website.

Create full sentences with Animated Heading

Using the Animated heading layer you can create words which are changing again and again. This animation helps your visitors focus on your message, which needs less space as it fits to a single line. This way you can create more white spaces on your site, making it more clear to read. You can add text before and after the animated text to create a full sentence. Of course if you only want the animation, you can use it without any other text.

Animated Heading animation types

The Animated headline offers many cool effects you can use to display your text. You can make the words fade, rotate or slide. There are 9 effect in total, including two different typing effects. Parallax effect redesigned

Apart from the Animated heading layer there’s one other layer news. We updated the parallax effect for the better. The old effect had several problems when it was used in a slider with more than one slide. If you’ve used the effect, you know what I’m talking about. The improved codes make parallax effect more consistent. This means it looks the same regardless how many slides you have. Did I mention it also works on slide background videos and colors now? To enable the effect visit the slider’s General settings and find the option below the slide background fill modes. Of course the effect will still work in mobile and tablet devices as long as its enabled on them.

Fallback for the old parallax effect

Have you used the parallax effect on your slider before? Don’t worry, the system automatically enabled it for you. By default the parallax strength is set to normal. But if the slider had parallax effect before, the default strength will be Super Strong 100%. All five strengths differ, but Super Strong is the closest to the old effect. Feel free to visit the Parallax settings to play with the different strengths.
